Weddings at St John's Church

With all sorts of options now available, we believe there is nothing like a church wedding!

There is great flexibility in how your wedding service runs. There are a few ‘must do’s’, but an endless list of ‘could have’s’ on top; and no rush to leave for the next booking slot!

We do however advise that you plan early. The church and the vicar do get booked up in advance, especially in the popular summer months, and your public reading of wedding banns must begin 3 months prior to the wedding so planning ahead is important to avoid disappointment. 

We will also want plenty of time to work with you to plan your day, arrange a rehearsal and invite you to our annual marriage preparation evening.
